We are looking for a Senior React Developer (f/m/d) to join our team developing traumhausverlosung.de, an innovative charity lottery product. As part of our small development team, you'll contribute to customer-facing features and help optimize our conversion funnels.
Your tasks:
- Develop and maintain our customer-facing webshop using React and Next.js
- Work closely with product-, design-, marketing- and tech-colleagues in a very lean and agile manner (startup mentality)
- Integrate RESTful APIs in coordination with Backend Developers
- Ensure technical implementation of UI/UX designs meets quality standards
- Write and maintain tests for functionality, security, and performance
- Support deployment automation alongside our DevOps team
- Contribute to performance optimization and conversion rate improvements
- Participate in measuring and iterating on product features
- A passion for web development with an up-to-date tech stack using React
- Experience working with Next.js (App Router, Server Functions, Server Components), TypeScript, and HTML5/CSS3
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend tools around React, such as Tailwind CSS, React Hook Form, TanStack Query, Zod, shadcn and Lucide
- Experience implementing responsive, mobile-first designs
- “You build it, you run it” mindset and experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining a web application
- Strong in writing performant code and clean architectures
- Experience integrating and working with REST APIs
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration
- Proactive approach to knowledge sharing and peer support
