We are seeking an experienced (Senior) Backend Developer (f/m/x) to strengthen our Payment team. If you're passionate about technological advancements and collaborative teamwork, this opportunity is tailored for you. 

• As part of a cross functional team you will create, operate and maintain high-quality software products for different businesses within ZEAL.
• Design and develop robust and secure APIs and a scalable payments platform in a microservice architecture running on Kubernetes.
• Work closely with your team and product manager in an agile environment discovering opportunities and implementing solutions.
• Work with external partners and providers and integrate their services into our platform.
• Develop user interfaces for administrative tasks, contributing to operational efficiency.

• Experience in Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot as well as microservice architectures.
• Ability to create secure, maintainable and efficient code, backed by automated tests.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and a „you built it, you run it“ mindset.
• You are a critical thinker who likes to deal with complex processes and who embraces an active feedback culture.
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
